Andrea and her 2 kids have went from a place of being stuck in a cycle of abuse, to fleeing for their lives, to living for months at a refugee camp, unsure how she would continue on. Enter a team of people (like you!) who care that exploited women and children have a hand up, and Andrea was afforded the opportunity to create, learn to sew, and grow her amazing painting skill into a business! Now, because of your compassionate purchases of her “Fridas” and other fabulous had painted items, she and her kids have moved from the hundreds of bunks and floor pads inside a church into their first safe home!
Andrea is determined not to take hand outs. She loves to work and desires to work to earn the money she needs to pay for food, shelter, medical, and eventually school for her littles.
Each and every item you purchase directly allows Andrea to keep providing for her family, and to keep herself and her kids safe and FREE!
This marketplace, that you keep propelling forward with your good purchases, is a very real lifeline for Andrea and the many, many women like her that you partner with through Do Good Shop. Thank you. Truly. We are all so grateful for your support.
