I M P A C T
Café Femenino was born in 2003, when 464 women farmers in northern Peru took the bold step of separating their coffee production from the men’s. Before that decisive action, these women had little economic control in their towns or families. Through Café Femenino, for the first time ever, they had a product and an income of their own.
