Andrea and her 2 kids went from a place of being stuck in a cycle of abuse, to fleeing for their lives, to living for months at a refugee camp, unsure how she would continue on. Andrea is determined not to take hand outs. She loves to work and desires to work to earn the money she needs to pay for food, shelter, medical, and eventually school for her littles.

Your purchase helps farmers in eSwatini with fair wages—many of whom are "gogos," women supporting grandchildren orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
Through sales of their products, small local farmers are able to reinvest incomes into their local communities. These farmers are trained in organic growing practices and permaculture, and pass these skills on to their neighbors. Women farmers in eSwatini are also able to grow chilies from their home gardens, which allow them to simultaneously care for their children.

I M P A C T
Street Hope was started out of an urgent request for help from a group of women trapped in extreme poverty and trafficking in Kenya. This group of women were desperate for hope and help and it began a journey to discover how to partner to provide dignified empowerment. It has evolved from business training/small business grants to a two-year program of mentorship, life skills, and vocational training to empower the participants to make sustainable life change for themselves and their families.
