Vocational Training
Our partner organization, A Perfect Injustice, has begun a vocational boarding school for former street children who are unable to finish Junior High by the age of 18. This vocational school gives them the opportunity to learn and practice a variety of vocational skills in an environment where they are being loved and mentored. Students are then given the opportunity to practice the vocational skills that they are learning about. They are paid for this work into a personal savings account that they will use once they graduate from the program to purchase land, build a home, and to launch an independent life of their own. Vocation school is teaching students:
- Construction
- Artisan Skills
- Welding
- Agriculture
- Culinary
- Counseling
- Forestry
- Finance Management
- Business
- Literacy
- Beekeeping
- Pig Rearing
