Fair Trade Farmer Cooperatives

The reason Do Good Shop exists is to empower people escaping oppression and exploitation to break the chain of injustice.  

The reason we sell fair trade food items because farming, food, coffee, chocolate, etc is one of the places where much injustice takes place!

We're not saying you need to change every food purchase you make.  But you know what happens when each one of us make one small change?  Our small, one step at a time choices, when added together with others small step forward choices creates a tidal wave of justice, rolling down!

Do Good Shop features several Equal Exchange products.  Equal Exchange started with an idea: what if food could be traded in a way that is honest and fair, a way that empowers both farmers and consumers? 

Moving forward, we need folks who will go beyond a purchasing transaction to build a truly democratic food system.

Besides social enterprise and Fair Trade food distributers, may we introduce you a fabulous, fellow nonprofit organization?  Grassroots International connects people in the US with global movements addressing the root causes of injustice and oppression.
